On April 9, 2026, the AmCham Women Network officially launched “Ti Koze Pa Nou,” a mentorship and dialogue initiative designed to connect young Haitians with accomplished women leaders and professionals who can inspire, guide, and empower them as they prepare for the future.
The inaugural session brought together thirteen senior students from Collège Marie-Louise Trichet for an open and engaging conversation centered on personal growth, leadership, education, career aspirations, and the realities of building a future in Haiti.
More than a simple discussion, the event was conceived as a space where young women could freely express their ambitions, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue with professionals who have navigated many of the same challenges and uncertainties they face today.
Throughout the session, students shared their dreams of becoming doctors, entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals in various fields. Their enthusiasm and determination highlighted the tremendous potential that exists among Haiti’s youth. At the same time, participants spoke candidly about their concerns regarding the country’s current situation, educational opportunities, and the challenges they anticipate encountering as they pursue their goals.
Representing the AmCham Women Network, Tatiana Siméon, Deborah Pierre, and Erika Rosenthal shared personal stories from their own professional journeys, discussing the obstacles they overcame, the lessons they learned, and the importance of perseverance, discipline, and adaptability in achieving success.
A significant portion of the discussion focused on helping students identify their strengths, better understand their interests, and recognize the importance of aligning their educational choices with their long-term objectives. Participants were encouraged to take advantage of modern learning tools, including artificial intelligence, online educational platforms, and professional networking opportunities, to broaden their knowledge and develop skills that will prepare them for an increasingly competitive global economy.
One of the most powerful moments of the exchange came as students discussed their hopes for the future and their desire to contribute positively to Haiti’s development. Despite the challenges facing the country, the conversation remained hopeful and forward-looking, emphasizing the importance of resilience, optimism, and civic responsibility.
Recognizing the strong interest expressed by several participants in the medical profession, the AmCham Women Network committed to facilitating additional mentorship opportunities by connecting interested students with healthcare professionals who can provide practical guidance on educational pathways, career opportunities, and the realities of working in the medical field.
The launch of Ti Koze Pa Nou reflects AmCham Haiti’s broader commitment to investing in human capital and fostering the next generation of leaders. By creating opportunities for mentorship, exposure, and dialogue, the initiative seeks to empower young people with the confidence, knowledge, and networks necessary to achieve their full potential.
