AmCham Haiti Provides Key Input to UNDP Administrator on Priorities for Sustainable Economic Recovery

On March 2, Mr. Clément Bélizaire, First Vice-President of AmCham Haiti, represented the Chamber at a working dinner organized in honor of the official visit of the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The event brought together senior representatives from Haiti’s economic, financial, and academic sectors, including the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti and the Minister of Economy and Finance.

Discussions focused on Haiti’s economic outlook, the role of private investment in supporting recovery efforts, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the private sector and international development institutions.

Participants emphasized that sustainable economic growth requires stronger partnerships between government, development agencies, and the business community. The exchange also highlighted the importance of creating an environment conducive to investment, job creation, and long-term development.
