Amcham Haiti held it’s 33rd General Assembly on Tuesday March 26th at 6:00 PM at the Karibe Convention Center. A lot of buzz preceded the General Assembly since for the 1st time the Members would vote for a new Board electronically.
Amcham Haiti with the approval of the Election Committee decided to move forward with the Electronic Vote to push for more transparency and increase Member participation to vote for a New Board. Amcham used a third party website for the Electronic Vote and the process was much simpler for the “Electors”.
In the end, Amcham had 72% of Members (Eligible Electors) vote for the New Board.
