Haitian private sector and U.S. government representatives will share views on how current economic, social, and political conditions in Haiti impact U.S. business interests in the country.  Positive trends in Haiti’s business climate.    Despite infrastructural and other challenges, the combination of international support for reconstruction efforts and a pro-business government elected in 2011 create opportunities for U.S. businesses, including at a recently inaugurated industrial park in Haiti’s north.  Doing business in Haiti, however, requires a nuanced understanding of on the ground realities.  Please join us to discuss these opportunities and latest developments in Haiti.
