Inauguration of Park Caracol

Amcham Haiti participated at the Inauguration of Park Caracol where many foreign investors and foreign government officials attended the opening of the largest industrial park in the Caribbean.

Amham Haiti’s president, Philippe Armand, attended the event which got a lot pres coverage and showcased what Haiti could become over the next couple of years. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attended as well former President Bill Clinton.

This event marks not only the opening of Park Caracol, but of the airport in Cap Haitien which is expected to get direct flights from the US. More projects are in the pipeline for Cap Haitien, especially in infrastructure which will facilitate companies that will establish themselves in the park.
