Amcham supports ratification of Prime Minister Lamothe by Parliament

The Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AmCham) salutes the ratification of the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe. A new democratic step has been reached by the appointment of the Presidency and ratified by both Houses of Parliament, as per the Constitution. AmCham welcomes all the protagonists behind this rally towards the National Interest.

AmCham hopes that the General Policy Statement by Prime Minister Lamothe will be presented quickly and that it has for pillar the competitiveness of Haiti, in favor of the economic and social development for the vast majority of the country. AmCham is committed alongside its members to be one of the driving forces supporting the Haitian economy, an economy that is healthy, in a climate of Peace and Stability.
