Amcham Haiti organized a dinner for US Ambassador Kenneth Merten on Friday June 29 at the Karibe Convention Center. The event was a great success where we had the honor to host the of Haiti Michel Martelly and his wife Sophia Martelly, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, Haiti Ambassador to the US Paul Altidor and of course US Ambassador Kenneth Merten.
Ambassador Merten, as the Chairman of Amcham, presented a plaque to Ambassador Altidor as he will join Amcham as co-Chairman of our Association. Ambassador Altidor will work closely with Amcham Haiti on its mission of promoting US investments into Haiti.
Later in the evening, President Martelly presented a plaque to Ambassador Merten, on behalf of the Board of Amcham, for his dedication and work in Haiti over the past 3 years.
