AmCham Haiti Launches Partnership with the Fort Lauderdale–Cap-Haïtien Sister City Committee

AmCham Haiti recently participated in a special event marking the launch of a new partnership between AmCham Haiti and the Fort Lauderdale–Cap-Haïtien Sister City Committee, an initiative aimed at strengthening ties between Haiti and South Florida while fostering greater collaboration between the Haitian diaspora and local communities.

 

The event brought together community leaders, members of the Haitian diaspora, and stakeholders committed to promoting economic, cultural, and community development between the two regions.

 

Representing the AmCham Haiti Board of Directors was Ms. Tatiana Siméon, Second Vice President of AmCham Haiti, while Executive Director Erika Rosenthal addressed attendees and highlighted the importance of building bridges between Haiti and its diaspora.

 

In her remarks, Ms. Rosenthal emphasized AmCham Haiti’s commitment to creating platforms that showcase Haiti’s potential and facilitate meaningful connections among business leaders, professionals, and community organizations. She noted that this partnership represents an important step toward encouraging stronger economic, cultural, and social engagement between Haiti and South Florida.
