Amcham signs MOU with CFI (Centre de Facilitation d’Investissement)

Amcham signs MOU with CFI to formalize a cooperation, or public-private partnership, to enhance investments into Haiti. With this agreement, the CFI will assist Amcham Members with pending issues with the different Ministries and government agencies. In addition, Amcham will assist CFI in support (website content development, database creation and management to facilitate investments into the country. The CFI has come into an agreement with all the main Chambers of Commerce in Haiti which for the first time puts the “institutionalized” private sector together to support the Haitian government. The government has made a lot of strides in the past 6 months, but there is still a lot of work to do acknowledged the CFI Executive Director, Karl Jean Louis.
