Reception at the Embassy of Haiti

On the evening of September 10, Ambassador Delatour hosted a reception at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, DC, in honor of the visiting joint public-private delegation. The event brought together government representatives, private-sector leaders, and regional partners in a strong display of institutional support for Haiti’s economic priorities.

AACCLA leadership was represented by Anne McKinney and Cole Matino, underscoring continued regional engagement on issues critical to Haiti’s stability and growth. At the Ambassador’s invitation, AmCham Haiti delivered brief remarks reaffirming its support for the renewal of the HOPE/HELP program and highlighting the indispensable role of the Haitian private sector in any credible strategy to restore security and economic order in Port-au-Prince.

The reception reinforced the importance of coordinated diplomatic and business engagement as Haiti advances its economic and institutional recovery agenda.
