Webinar: Insights on how to do business with the U.S Department of Defense presented by Christofer Gardiner, Contracting Officer, Forward Contracting Element- Haiti

On May 31, the AmCham Board held a meeting with the Embassy’s economic team, SOUTHCOM, and the Foreign Commercial Service to discuss procurement needs and local resource availability for the MSS mission. As a result of this meeting, we decided to organize a webinar for our members to address their questions and explore potential commercial opportunities.

On June 18, Mr. Christopher Gardiner, Contracting Officer for the Forward Contracting Element-Haiti, presented at our webinar titled “Insights on How to Do Business with the U.S. Department of Defense.” He provided detailed guidance on how to register a business on the SAM.gov website, the System for Award Management (SAM.gov), and explained the contracting and solicitation processes used by the U.S. Department of Defense to select vendors.

Several questions were addressed during the webinar, and the presentation slides were shared with members afterward.
