IP campaign on medications – Amcham and US Embassy push for Haitians to buy medications in pharmacies

Amcham Haiti with the support of the State Department obtained a grant for a campaign on the purchase of medications. Amcham Haiti, the US Embassy, the Ministry of Health (MSPP) put together a campaign that began on August 25th where the campaign will be carried on 5 radio stations and an SMS text message will be sent to large percentage of the population encouraging not to buy medications in the streets, but rather in pharmacies. The SMS campaign was supported by Digicel.

The campaign will last 1 month and hope that other organizations will continue the campaign that is a big issue for the local government.
