Constitutional Reform Committee Meeting

Following the meeting organized by the National Conference, where it was agreed that various sectors would collaborate to propose constitutional reform recommendations, representatives from different chambers of commerce convened on Monday, December 9th. The objective was to consolidate the recommendations from the boards of directors they represent.

 During the recent Constitutional Reform Committee meeting, participants engaged in a constructive discussion on the complexities of constitutional amendments and the challenges associated with their implementation. The dialogue emphasized the need for a transparent and well-structured process, focusing on combating corruption and ensuring accountability. Members highlighted the importance of establishing a dedicated commission composed of legal and policy experts to guide the reform process. They also recognized the crucial link between constitutional reforms and economic stability, stressing that any amendments should align with the country’s current realities. The committee agreed on the necessity of balancing governance improvements with national security and stability, paving the way for an inclusive and comprehensive constitutional review process.
